Computer-Assisted
Observation of Parents and Children (Internet-Obs)
National Institute of Mental Health, 2001 – 2003
Edward Feil, Betsy Davis, Lisa Sheeber & John Noell
This research will experimentally evaluate the psychometric characteristics
of an innovative computer/Internet observation system to record parent-child
behaviors as a means of monitoring important indicators of treatment
outcomes in behavioral parent training. The current project will develop
and test a computer-guided Parent-Child interaction task, automatically
recorded with a digital camera and transferred over the Internet for
coding.

Edward Feil, Hill Walker, Herbert Severson, John Seeley & Barb Gunn
This one year project evaluates the to evaluate the efficacy of a combined
social skills (First Step to Success) and preliteracy intervention (e.g.
phonological awareness) for Head Start children at high risk for school
failure.
Interactive
Internet Intervention for Positive Parenting (Parent-Net)
National Institute of Mental Health, 2001 – 2006

Interactive Internet
Interventions for Smoking Cessation (QSN)
National Institute on Cancer, 2002 – 2006
