ORI remembers our friend and colleague, K. John Fisher, Ph.D. ( May 6, 1947-February 17, 2007). John's legacy lives on in many ways. Our annual K. John Fisher Distinguished Scientist Colloquium is dedicated to John. It was developed to honor John's focus on encouraging activity across the life span and improving public health and well-being via community based interventions.
