Participate in Research

Research Participation is Voluntary

It's YOUR Decision.

All of ORI's research is reviewed and approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB), which is a committee made up of of researchers and people from the community. The job of the IRB is to protect the rights and welfare of people who volunteer for our research. Before you decide to become a research participant, get the facts:

• Know what you're getting into - ask questions!
• Learn as much as you can.
• Ask about the risks and benefits.
• Remember, taking part in research is voluntary.
