Preventing Falls after Cancer: Tai Chi vs. Strength Training

In this randomized controlled trial, researchers are examining the effect of Tai Chi and strength training on improving balance and muscle strength, and reducing the risk of falling in cancer patients.

Tai Chi is recommended by the American Geriatric Society and the British Geriatric Society as a fall prevention exercise program for older adults and has become widely accepted as a balance and strength training program.
